Envita

ENVITA: New energy from dumps and landfills at the end of their LIFE

Current dumps and landfills exploit for a brief period – 15 years – a minimal part of the biogas they produce, a result of internal combustion engines which use a maximum of 40% methane: the remaining biogas is today burnt by torch. Our technology can exploit all the biogas and reduce to 1.5% the quantity of methane, thus allowing Italy to be independent of the energy of other countries.
